
Elective Lecture Offerings in Winter Semester 25/26

In the upcoming winter semester, the human-centered systems lab will offer one B.Sc. and two M.Sc. electives lectures. The B.Sc. Lecture “Enterprise Systems for Financial Accounting & Controlling (EFA)” will be offered by Dr. Christian Fleig (Lidl) and introduce foundations enterprise system concepts using the example of SAP S/4HANA. Furthermore, we will integrate capstone projects in the M.Sc. elective lectures “Business Intelligence Systems (BIS)” and “Engineering Interactive Systems: Wearables & AI (EIS)” in cooperation with practice partners. In the BIS lecture, we will leverage Databricks Data Intelligence Platform and work on real-world retail banking business intelligence & analytics use cases provided by Atruvia. In the EIS lecture, we will engage in the capstone project with Visualvest, a fintech subsidiary of the Union Investment Group. Students will leverage AI and wearables to design emotion-adaptive investment banking app prototypes.
