Problem Description:

Everyone knows vibe coding by now. But designers are confronted with similar benefits and challenges while designing with AI together or letting AI design on it’s own. But how exactly does this (not) work for designers? What are their best practices? What are their wishes for future AI-design systems?

Goal of the Practical Seminar:

You do a public discourse analysis on reddit (and possibly other relevant sources) in groups that are discussing interface design. Automated sentiment analysis and clustering of feature requests or other AI-based analysis will be deployed based on your technical expertise. An only manual analysis as common in Research Seminars will not be feasible in this case. After initial familiarization with the corpus you will explore directions and topics for analysis.

Search Method:

You will identify and build crawlers for relevant public discourse outlets such as reddit to identify vibe designing descriptions.
