Project Summary:

The goal of this project is to study and design human-centered AI for sustainable businesses. We focus on the fundamental question on how generative AI agents and humans should collaborate to optimize resource management and promote ecological and social sustainability in business practices. By following a human-centered AI design approach, we develop innovative solutions that improve business operations and contribute to a more sustainable and equitable world. Through human subject research, the project explores the synergies between generative AI technologies and human expertise and cognition, while aiming for generative AI systems designed and implemented in ways that are ethical, transparent, and aligned with the principles of sustainability.
