The goal of this project is to study the current and future impact of generative AI on sustainability processes, focusing on how generative AI agents and humans collaborate to optimize resource management, enhance efficiency, reduce cognitive load and promote ecological and social sustainability in business practices. By integrating human-centered generative AI, we develop innovative solutions that improve business operations and contribute to a more sustainable and equitable world. Through interdisciplinary research and empirical studies, the project explores the synergies between generative AI technologies and human expertise, while aiming for generative AI systems designed and implemented in ways that are ethical, transparent, and aligned with the principles of sustainability.
